The Rio Rico High School Culinary Arts students showcased their talents at the Taste of Tubac on March 23, 2025, serving a delicious Shrimp Aguachile with avocado on a lettuce leaf . Our students utilized the Santa Crusing Food Truck. Their hard work and dedication earned them an impressive 3rd place in the competition. A special thank you goes to Ms. Mavis!

Great things are happening in RRHS-Career and Technical Education!
1. Culinary Arts students showcased their creativity by making fresh salsa with a unique twist, blending tomatoes, pepper, onion, and strawberries for a bold flavor.
2, Law and Public Safety students engaged in hands-on tactical training with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, gaining real-world experience.
3. The Film and TV program elevated its production capabilities with a professional audio studio, providing students with the tools to record high-quality podcasts, music, and more.
4. The Dance Team took time to celebrate our CTE Specialist, who was honored as Staff of the Year Molly Johnson

Great educational advancements are happening in Rio Rico High School CTE Department! Agriculture students are gaining real-world skills by welding, manufacturing homes for livestock, and operating heavy equipment. The AgriScience program provides invaluable hands-on experiences, allowing students to apply their knowledge in practical settings. Dr. McPherson goes beyond the standard CTE curriculum, integrating industrial technologies into his teaching. All the manufactured items will be used in our District.
