Varsity letter jackets are the best way to show your pride for your high school. The athletic department is making a huge push to educate and promote letter jackets to athletes and parents. We hope to see more athletes making the choice to show that Hawk Pride by saving up and purchasing a jacket.

Alina Lopez successfully completed the Santa Cruz County Emerging Leaders Program, an initiative launched by Dr. Rodolfo Martinez Morales from the University of Arizona. Throughout the school year, Alina actively participated in a variety of events that helped develop her leadership skills and community engagement. Rio Rico High School is proud of Alina for this outstanding accomplishment. Special thanks go out to her parents and everyone involved in supporting and organizing this impactful program.

The Rio Rico High School Farm is home to a variety of livestock that are cared by our AgriScience students. Our students take pride in feeding and maintaining the animals as part of their hands-on agricultural education. The livestock will be showcased in the upcoming county fair. Special thanks to our Agriculture Interns, Agriculture Specialist, and Dr. McPherson for their continuous support and dedication to the success of our program.

Flag football competed this weekend at Benjamin Franklin High School in Queen Creek for some off-season competition. The Hawks were able to line up against quality competition in its first real action as a program.
