
Rio Rico High School art teacher Miguel Grijalva and art students Fatima Martinez, Maya Gomez, and Bryanna Bustamante took part in the creation of the Present Meets the Past mural overseen by the Santa Cruz County School Superintendent's Office. They were interviewed by Beyond Fronteras historian Dr. Carlos Parra who gave the group historical information throughout the process. The Rio Rico High School Interact Club has had outstanding participation this year. Thirty students cleaned up the athletic field and nine prepared and served food at the Crossroads Mission on October 5th. Their efforts are very much appreciated!






We are conducting a practice lockdown at Coatimundi Middle School in accordance with state mandates regarding emergency response procedures. Students and staff are safe. We kindly ask that you refrain from texting or calling your student during this exercise, as it may disrupt practice of this emergency response process.

Good Morning. We want to make the public aware that the RRHS football field is being used to assist officials as a landing spot for a helicopter. There is no emergency on the end of SCV35 or RRHS.

Congratulations to Olga Bermudez on her retirement from the SCV35 Transportation Department! Do not be alarmed if you hear sirens near the Transportation Office area, as the Sheriff's Department will be escorting Ms. Bermudez to the bus barn during her farewell ceremony this morning.

SCVUSD No. 35 is excited for its Aquatic Center Grand Opening! The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on September 2 at 10:00 am. The public is welcome to come and swim, lay in the sun, socialize, and enjoy their day off at the new facility. Pool pass registration is required beforehand and can be completed here:
