Last night, our Governing Board Members and Calabasas School Principal Mr. Chavez recognized Sophia Yocupicio for her great achievement of winning first place in this year's National Championship in Taekwondo in Ontario, California! 🥋🥇

Earlier today, Mrs. Megan Padilla and Ms. Audra Bilow led our new SCV35 teachers on a tour around the district. ✨🚌 Our new educators were able to see all of the school sites, learn where all the fun shops and restaurants are around town, and spend time with animals at the Rio Rico High School Agriculture Farm! 🌱🐄 A huge shoutout to Mr. McPherson and his students for showing our teachers around! 👏 New educators also had a chance to settle into their sites throughout the week and enjoy lunch with their principals.

We are so excited to begin the 25-26 school year with new teachers joining our team! Welcome to SCV35! ❤️

🛟🌊Last night, our SCV35 lifeguards were recognized by Superintendent Verdugo and our Governing Board Members for their contributions and efforts towards the success of the Aquatic Center and first-ever SCV35 Swim Lessons Program! 🌊🛟

Thanks to the unwavering support of our Governing Board Members and District Administration, we were able to receive over 515 registrations for swim lessons, and welcome over 1,780 individuals to our pool throughout the summer. The work of our lifeguards has created lasting memories for our community and laid the foundation for many summers to come! 🏊

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, over 515 SCV35 students received free school supplies and enjoyed a free lunch to kick off the school year right! 💼🍎

We’re so grateful to everyone who made this event possible, including our community partners, vendors, volunteers, SFE Food Services, SCC Facilities, site principals, parent liaisons, and District Administration. 🙌
