
Oh, the weather outside is......nice and warm thanks to Coats for Kids, Inc. and Stewart Title who provided 135 coats for our kids this winter season!


The Rio Rico Rotary donated nearly 70 bikes to families during their Annual Bikes for Tykes event! The Rotary partnered with the Rio Rico Fire District which provided helmets to the new bike owners.










The donations continue rolling in! We are so grateful to the Santa Cruz County Board of Realtors and the Real Wishes Foundation for their generosity and donation of nearly $1500 worth of blankets for families this winter season.

A huge thank you to the Jesus M. Cordova Memorial Foundation. The generous donation was presented to each school by Mrs. Irma Orozco. They generously donated nearly 60 coats for students this winter!


"Many thanks to our community for donating approximately $1500 worth of toys during our annual Stuff the Bus event. The donations will benefit students in our school district this holiday season. "

JROTC students are testing out their new obstacle course! The RRHS program, powered by PIMA JTED, just added a Tarzan, Over/Under, Swinging Bridge, Log Balance, Incline Wall, and a Rope Climb. The new obstacle course is another example of your bond dollars at work! Thank you SCV35 Community!
1SG Larry Brown, and Former RRHS JROTC Instructor commented, "God Bless America! It was put to the test last weekend as 12 teams of JROTC Cadets competed at the 13th annual Armando Padilla Memorial Meet. LTC St. Clair and 1SG Moore put on an outstanding competition!"

Rio Rico High School students donated their time this past week to serve pasta and spread cheer at the Crossroad Mission Family Center in Noglaes in the Rio Rico Rotary Pasta Kitchen projects. 'Tis the season for giving!

Santa's SCV35 helpers were available at the Rio Rico Community Center sponsored Santa's Garden of LIghts.

Students at each school painted a train car for Rotary's First Annual Tree Lighting. It was a lot of fun and the clubs who had fundraisers did AMAZING! Thank you Rotary and the SCV35 community for making it such a successful and meaningful event!










Students at Rio Rico High School earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These programs celebrate students' hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance.

SCV35 Families, the Rio Rico Rotary and Garrett's Supermarket joined forces for the the annual Coin War fundraiser. Together, the groups provided 82 families with $60 gift certificates for Thanksgiving.

RRHS graduate Fernanda Grijalva and RRHS art teacher Miquel Grijalva were recently honored for their work with the prestigious Nils Urman Mural of the Year Award for the murals created both inside & outside the SCC Superintendent’s Office. #SCV35AboveTheBar
