Mountain View! Cataleah Briones, our fifth grader at Mountain View, is seen proudly displaying her oil pastel giraffe at the opening of the 2024 Tubac Center of the Arts Mid-Hi Art Show on April 19th. This marks the second consecutive year that her artwork has been chosen for this prestigious exhibition.
Analy Armenta, our fourth-grader at Mountain View, received accolades from a patron of the Tubac Center of the Arts for her impressive charcoal lion. Remarkably, this was her first time working with charcoal as a medium.
Both Cataleah and Analy are part of Mountain View's Advanced Art Program and were selected to exhibit alongside twenty-three other SCV35 elementary and middle school students.
The annual event at the esteemed Art Center is open to the public and will continue until May 29th.

Mountain View Elementary advanced art students were recognized at the Governing Board meeting. Board members were in awe of the big talent coming from such young artists! This is the first time these students have used charcoal. WOW!
