Congratulations To Rio Rico High School
The Arizona Education Foundation recently announced that Rio Rico High School (RRHS) is one of 39 exemplary Arizona schools receiving its A+ School of Excellence™ designation for the 2016-17 academic year.
Applicant schools are evaluated in the areas of student focus and support, school culture, active teaching and learning, curriculum, leadership, community and parent involvement, and assessment data.
“Our success is due to our dedicated teachers and staff who work tirelessly to make this a great school, and to our students who truly care about their school,” said RRHS Principal Shelly Vroegh. “Together we’ve earned this remarkable A+ distinction for our community.”
With this award, Rio Rico High School now becomes the fourth of five Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35 schools holding this title, joining San Cayetano Elementary, Coatimundi Middle, and Calabasas Schools.
