Santa Cruz Valley Students
Gifted Education Programs

For those students who have excelled in their regular studies and need more of a challenge to keep their minds engaged, we offer our gifted education program. This program provides opportunities for students to receive differentiated instruction designed to promote the development of higher order thinking skills, creative thinking, and problem solving skills.

In order to qualify for this program, a student must score at the 97th percentile or above on state-approved tests and must meet multiple criteria, including non-verbal, verbal, and quantitative benchmarks. We encourage you to review the documents at the side of this page, which will provide more information about eligibility and program delivery standards.
